Dedale Intelligence MCP Whats New October 2026
The Dedale Intelligence MCP integration keeps getting better. Here is what changed in October 2026 and what is coming next.

The Dedale Intelligence MCP integration connects your AI assistant directly to our full intelligence base: company profiles, expert transcripts, analyst reports, deal data, all in natural language, without switching tools. Your team queries Dedale the same way they already ask questions to Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot. The answers come back sourced, with links to the underlying report, transcript or company page.
Since launch, clients have been using it to run company deep dives before a first call, screen targets against a thesis, pull competitive landscapes on a sector, and cross-check expert sentiment on a company already in the portfolio. Here is what changed in October 2026.
Evidence Search
Previously, getting a comprehensive answer on a topic required running separate searches across expert interviews and analyst reports. Evidence Search does it in one call. Ask something like "What do experts and reports say about pricing pressure in mid-market GRC software since 2024?" and the assistant returns the best-matched answers across all sources, balanced and labelled by origin, in a single response.
For deal teams preparing for an IC, this means a first read on a market or a company in the time it used to take to open the platform.
Company profiles now include relationships
Company profiles now return the company's competitors and investors with ownership details, each linking back to the platform page. Combined with Company Comparables, which finds companies similar to a target and ranks them by expert coverage, a peer set that used to take several manual searches now comes back in one prompt: "Find ten companies comparable to this one in the DACH region."
Investor Get
Pull a fund's full profile, KPIs in the fund's currency, and portfolio of majority and minority holdings in one request. Useful for portfolio monitoring and for understanding who owns what in a sector before reaching out.
Revenue that matches the platform
Every revenue figure the assistant returns now matches the company page exactly, with its year and source. Modelled estimates are labelled as ranges, and a missing figure is reported as unknown rather than zero, so a screen no longer excludes a company just because its revenue is not publicly confirmed.
What is coming next
Company Match will let your assistant find a company by website or domain, with a confidence grade on every match. Deal List will return deals for given companies or investors filtered by date, type, sector and region in one request, instead of one search per name. Transcripts Get will read up to ten interviews at once, summaries first, with full content only for the ones the assistant needs to quote.
Also in development
An official Dedale Intelligence listing in Claude's directory, with a plugin that installs the research skill with the connection and keeps it up to date automatically.
Updated research skill, October 2026 edition
The research skill teaches your assistant how to run Dedale-grade research: which tool to use for which question, how to cite, how to structure outputs. The October 2026 edition is updated for every new tool in this release and includes playbooks for company deep dives, competitive landscapes, investment thesis, M&A target screening, market sizing, portfolio monitoring, and retention and churn. Once installed, the assistant picks the right playbook automatically based on the question.
If your team is already connected, contact your Dedale account manager to receive the updated skill package. If you are not yet connected and want to see what this looks like in practice, we are happy to walk you through it.
Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about the Dedale Intelligence MCP integration
Common questions about how the MCP integration works, which AI assistants it supports, how to get set up, and what is included.
What is the Dedale Intelligence MCP integration and how does it work?
It is a direct connection between your AI assistant and the Dedale Intelligence platform. Once connected, your team can query company profiles, expert transcripts, analyst reports and deal data in natural language, directly from Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot or any MCP-compatible assistant, without switching tools.
Which AI assistants are compatible with the Dedale Intelligence MCP integration?
Any assistant that supports MCP (Model Context Protocol), an open standard now supported by most major AI assistants including Claude, ChatGPT and Dust. If you use something else, get in touch and we will confirm compatibility.
Is the Dedale Intelligence MCP integration secure and does it access our internal data?
Yes. The connection uses OAuth, the same standard behind Sign in with Google or Sign in with Microsoft. The connector can only read platform data and never writes or takes action on your behalf. Every result respects your access rights.
How long does it take to set up the Dedale Intelligence MCP integration?
Setup is a short technical step usually handled by your tech team, typically around 15 minutes org-wide. After that, each teammate signs in with their own Dedale credentials and is ready to go in a few minutes.
How do we get access to the Dedale Intelligence MCP integration?
The MCP integration is available as part of your Dedale Intelligence package. If you are not yet a client and want to see what it looks like in practice, request a demo and we will walk you through it.
