Who can join the Dedale expert community?
Dedale works with three profiles: technology vendors (current or former employees of software companies), technology buyers (professionals who have evaluated, purchased, or deployed technology solutions), and technology partners (consultants, integrators, and advisors operating across technology markets). If you have first-hand experience in any of these roles, we want to hear from you.
What does participation involve?
Most collaborations take the form of 45 to 60-minute video calls with one of our Thematic Leads, focused on a specific market, vendor, or technology segment. Shorter formats — quick calls and surveys — also occur regularly. All conversations are structured around your area of expertise, and you are never asked to share confidential information.
Is there compensation?
Yes. A remuneration model based on hourly rates is presented before any engagement. Payment is processed quickly — typically within a few days — via platforms including Wise for international transfers. Dedale has paid its expert community millions across cumulative engagements. If you prefer, you can also choose to have your contribution donated to an NGO of your choice from our approved list, which includes organisations such as WWF, UNICEF, and the UN World Food Programme.
What about confidentiality?
Every collaboration begins with signing a Terms of Collaboration agreement covering NDA protections and remuneration terms. You are never asked to disclose information that falls outside of what you are authorised to share.
Which geographies and languages does the network cover?
Dedale's expert community is global, with strong representation across North America and Europe and regular contributors from APAC, the Middle East, Africa, and LATAM. While most calls are conducted in English, our research team works across dozens of languages including German, French, Spanish, and Mandarin.
How ongoing is the relationship?
There is no minimum commitment. You can participate as often or as rarely as you like. That said, Dedale prioritises building long-term relationships with experts across their areas of coverage — many members collaborate repeatedly as new research questions arise in their segments.
